This summer I had an amazing time on my road trip. I was constantly smiling and made tons of wonderful memories. As I write this, we are driving through the Great Plains of Texas on our way home to Austin. Seeing the beautiful road ahead of me just takes me back to our first days on the trip, wondering what we would see/do on our 3 week journey.
We began on July 27th, and return today, August 18th. A good amount of time for us to just barely start missing home. This summer we hiked through a river, reconnected with family & friends, camped under the stars, spent hours staring at the sea, drove through a huge sandstorm, and saw dolphins under the super moon.
I can’t wait to share with you some of our stories & adventures, and of course more photos. I saved them until after the trip because I didn’t want to spend too much time blogging & editing while away. I wanted to enjoy every moment of it. So hopefully in the next few weeks I’ll get to sharing more stuff about my journey.
