Mt. Gainor Inn is a bed & breakfast located in a secluded area in Dripping Springs, Texas. This property is owned by a wonderfully hospitable couple who live just next door in the ranch which houses some beautiful horses. The drive up alone was so peaceful and lovely, I couldn’t wait
When we did, it was more than a treat. There were trails behind the property that lead to a pasture where donkeys, horses, and cows grazed. During our arrival, we were informed by the innkeeper that we were the only ones on the property that night. As a result, we were then upgraded to the larger suite, free of charge.
When the sun began to descend, it gave the most beautiful glow to the surrounding areas. It was so quiet and serene lounging in the hammock, hearing only the bugs and birds fluttering around. But, when the sun went completely down, the sights were breathtaking. It seemed like we could see the entire universe in the night’s sky. Definitely an experience to remember.
The Inn had such great customer service (and even better breakfast cooked by the owner himself!) we cannot wait to return! I definitely recommend making a visit to this wonderful spot. You will not be disappointed.

What an awesome treat to be the only ones at the Inn and to be upgraded with the suite AND have a home-cooked breakfast? Just awesome. Sounds like the perfect place for a getaway. It's amazing how the customer service can really seal the deal for a place, you know? And I bet the trails and pasture are just so serene…
